Life is a journey of ebbs and flows.

I don't have to tell you, you're living it.

But with that journey comes life's lessons and if we are wise, we will apply it, to learn and heal for the next phase or season of our lives.

We generate new roots from a lesson learned (wisdom) that we thought depleted us, but in fact it gave us what we needed to hydrate, sprout, and be infused with the right nutrients to thrive once again.

Where in your life have you been talking about a dream more than working toward it?

What small, realistic step could you take today that your future self with thank you for?


Activity

  1. Write down one dream or goal you have deferred?

  2. List the top three reasons you have delayed starting. Be honest and transparent with yourself.

  3. Rewrite each reason into a small, doable action.

    1. Example: "I don't know where to begin." | Research one (1) beginner resource today.

  4. Circle the one step you will take within the next 24 hours and schedule it.

  5. Close out this journal entry by writing a commitment statement.

    1. Example: "A year from now, I'll be grateful that I started because . . . "
